Chipmunks are very cute small critters.  Chipmunks can climb pretty good but not as
good as you would see a squirrel climb.  They usually live in holes or other small
enclosures.  Sometimes chipmunks will be pests if they keep digging in flower beds
and people will usually trap them.  It is really easy to get rid of chipmunks without killing
them.  First get them in a trap that wont injure or hurt the chipmunk then release them
in a woods or other spot and they will make a new home.  Chipmunks mainly eat seeds
of all sorts including seeds from bird feeders or small nuts.  Chipmunks are a common
prey for all types of animals but their most feared predator is the hawk.  Chipmunks
are every where but hawks keep their numbers from getting to high.  You will see
chipmunks most in the summer when it is nice out.

If you ever see an injured chipmunk first you should get gloves.  A common problem is
if you get bitten you will have to get rabbi shots or you will have to kill the chipmunk
and ship its head to a scientist to check for rabbis.  A common problem is chipmunks
get into pools and get hypothermia and drown.  This happens a lot because at night
chipmunks can not see what their doing or they can be careless when they get a drink
of water and drown.  Chipmunks like all animals can get rabies so you need to make
sure that the chipmunk is not acting strange.  Chipmunks should be handled with
gloves because they can bite.  A small clinic should care for them if they are too hurt.
