Environment
Danio fish have unbelievable coloring and patterns. Danios can have neon coloring
or they can have bright red orange or many other colors. These fish will grow about
two inches if they are properly cared for. Keep your pets water temperature around
75 degrees Fahrenheit. It is important that you keep their water temperature at a
good level otherwise they can have health problems. Keep a tight lid on your Danios
aquarium because Danios are known for their ability to jump. Make sure that your
aquarium is at least a twenty gallon tank is provided for your Danio. Danios need
plenty of room to swim around in. Small caves and other hiding places should be
provided for your Danio so they feel secure in their environment. Also make sure you
add plants ( live or fake) to your environment. If you provide live plants make sure
they can not harm your Danio.
Food
Danios have a wide range of food they can consume. Danios are omnivores which
mean they can either eat meat or vegetables. Make sure you do not let small objects
that can choke your Danio in your aquarium. Danios will eat anything that can fit in
their mouth so it is important that you don't let your Danio eat anything that can
poison it. When you pick out food for your pet make sure that you get flakes that will
provide much nutrition for your Danio otherwise they can get sick from lack of nutrition.
Behavior
Danios can be housed with other fish. Danios usually behave with other fish but may
sometimes get in fights. Make sure that the fish in your aquarium aren't too big if one
fish is smaller or bigger they will compete. This can sometimes lead to death. Danios
will swim fast throughout the aquarium. Make sure that if you do not want baby
