Leopard frogs are popular but not as common as a bullfrog.  They have spots all over
them and they have green as a main color.  Leopard frogs do not usually get fat and
they will stay pretty thin.  They will croak at night and hunt at night.  In the day they will
just sit by a creek or pond and absorb the sunlight.  They eat small bugs like nats or
flies.  They will mate at early spring and lay eggs in the early summer.  Leopard frogs
love creeks because of all the bug activity.  Their tongue can reach about six inches
long.

If you ever find and injured leopard frog you should immediately take care to it.
Bandage any wounds with cloth.  Like always if it is too injured to care for take it to a
wildlife place and they should know what to do.  Give it time to heal it should take a
while.  If you decide to house it while it is hurt make sure you have a proper
environment for it.  Give it plenty of water but do not drown it in water because they
can not swim forever.  Feed it small bugs but make sure they are not poisoned.

Remember always care for animals their lives can be just as important as ours.
Respect them just like other human beings.
