Environment

Love birds require the same amount of care as every bird.  Love birds are very similar
to parrots they just require more attention.  Make sure that you have bars on your
cage that are tightly in place.  Also make sure that you do not leave the door open for
your bird because otherwise they can easily escape.  Add perches and a small resting
area for your Love bird so they can rest and sleep.  You can add toys for your bird this
will help them become more active.  Also make sure that the cage has plenty of space
for your bird to fly around in.  Without exercise your bird will become weaker and will
not live as long.  Make sure that you do not keep your love bird in direct sunlight
because your lovebird will get easily over heated.  Also make sure that you do not let
your bird get too cold because their body heat will adapt to their surroundings.

Food

Love birds will eat pelleted diets. You can find pelleted diets at a local pet store and if
you cant find pelleted diets at a local pet store you can go to an online store.  Make
sure that your Love bird has a lot of nutrition in their food this will help them stay
healthy.  Make sure that you provide water for your bird so they do not get
dehydrated.  Make sure the bowl doesn't give your bird a risk of drowning.  Love birds
love to bathe so it is important that you give them plenty of room to bathe.  Make sure
that you clean the water daily this will prevent the water from getting contaminated.

Behavior

Love birds should obviously have a bird with them but it is not required.   If you decide
to only get one bird make sure that you give it a ton of attention because lovebirds are
obviously very social birds.  Males shouldn't usually fight unless it is over competition.
Make sure that your love bird gets plenty of attention.
