Mammals are one of six classes of animals. In the world their are 4,000
different kinds of mammals this is a lot of mammals but not nearly as much as
the other six classes which can have over 100,0000 species. Mammals are
very unique and they can have many different features. All mammals are
different in their appearance. Some mammals may only be inches long and
others 15 feet tall. Mammals are warm blooded which means they can
survive extremely cold conditions even when the air is cold outside they still
have the same temperature inside. They can usually adapt quickly to their
surroundings. Mammals also have hair and feed their young with milk. Most
people don't know that whales are actually in the mammal species too
although they look like fish they feed their young milk too. Most people do not
realize that other species flourish unlike mammals this is because mammals
are unusually so large. Mammals are one of the species that are most
adapted to humans. Humans seem to like mammals because of their soft fur
and the way they look. We have mutated the dog into breeds just because we
liked their appearance and personality. Mammals are very amazing
creatures. They seem to be smarter than an other group of animals and
mammals can remember a little longer which makes them smarter.
